Since I ended up not going out of town this weekend, but still had a couple of days off, I decided to play backyard tourist right here near home. I started off at Gilgal Garden in Salt Lake and then took a few in other spots around town. Check out a few of my other Flickr photos here.
You ski. I ski. Hold on while I make this awkward.

Should you be stuck in town this summer, consider revisiting. A lady responsible for many things beautiful helps maintain the flora there. Her patient calm determination has endured for decades. I am in awe of this lady with the ready smile.
Dolt: I'll have to go back for sure when the flowers are all pretty this summer. However, I have to admit some of the mystique of Gilgal Garden was lost when I could just walk in-- rather than a decade ago when we had to sneak in under cover of night. ;)
A most excellent point. Midnight harvest fruit is far superior in taste.
